Earning money online isn’t easy, that I can tell you for sure!!!
Hello my name is Bart, 27yrs young and I want to share with you how it is possible to make money with your blog.
Everywhere you look, there are people making a fortune (and they have proof of it) online by advertising products for affiliated websites. When products that they are promoting are purchased, they get a commission for this.
Commission are different for every single product. Some will offer 10$ others may go up to 100$ per sale.
I have been using a few affiliated sites for the past year and to tell you the truth it hasn’t been a good year for me L L. The reason for this is that I am a newbie in this, I have no experience what so ever in promoting products.
When I first starting reading about these affiliated programs I thought that I wasn’t going to fit in. As I do not know how to sell these products nor how to build a website
But I want to make money online and get that extra income. If someone else can do it so can it!!
As building a website isn’t for me, I started thinking why I wouldn’t be able to start blogging about them. Its free to use and much easier then building a website.
Within the blog I could post a banner that will transfer my visitors directly to their site.
It will never happen that every visitor will purchase but what if I could bring about 1.000 visitors to see my blog a day (I know its high but you have think higher then you expect J ) and be redirected to this site….
If only 1% of those visitors purchased, this will mean that 10 sales can be made. .
When the commission on that product is 15$ per sale I would make 150$ that day. Not bad right?
This is all theory…. How to put it in practice?
I have been talking about earning money and getting 1000 visitors to your site but before getting a sale you need to get those people that will buy it an how could we do that?
There are some programs out there that might help you get the traffic, like trafficswarm, but mostly they just open your page and wait for 20 seconds so they can get credited on their program without even looking at the content.
The most effective way to get your self known is through social networking sites and email.
I am currently using Twitter, Facebook, Yuwie, Yahoo and a couple more…
The more sources you use, the more visitors you might get. Signup under the yahoo groups and start talking about what your site is all about and tell them to check it out. If your blog or site is appealing, the one guy/girl who visited the site is going to tell someone else, who is going to tell other people and so on…
You see what I am talking about?
Another point that is a very good help getting ideas and even more visitors is to request feedback. Ask people what they think of your site and how you could improve it. Ask them what likes and dislikes they have. The more you know the better your site/blog can get.
When starting a blog the best way to do so is to share your ideas and experience before actually start talking about the products you wish to sell/promote.
Before somebody is going to give you their money , there has to be a minimum of trust, good feeling in the air.
How do you accomplish this you may ask?
Well, just as I said. Before promoting and selling and putting 10.000ads on your site, talk about yourself, tell them who you are.
Even place your email address in the blog/site so people can contact you with questions or even advice.
The more you share with the people, the more likely they will return.
